About LAG

We are the Logikos Advocacy Group, the LAG for short.  Our mission is to come up with and lobby for solutions to local and national problems that affect the youth and the young. We want to fight the lag in government, the lack of concern for what our generation has to face. The American public education system is broken; the future of healthcare is in peril; and the future of the world is unclear. We cannot sit by as our future is decided by people who may not be there when we have to face the consequences of their actions. The LAG seeks to represent the young who see no point in voting, no point in participating, because there is no one out there with whom they resonate. The LAG is run by the young – students, people who care for the future because they will be a part of it – and for the young.

Our platform is simple: we cannot stand by. But what can we do? The answer is, young people in America are one of the largest group of eligible voters who do not vote. Our votes can swing elections, a leverage that can change the decisions of our lawmakers. It is our right, more, our responsibility, to do all we can to ensure a better future for ourselves. People who have to live the future of this country, the future of this world, cannot stay silent, cannot stand by, and cannot be ignored in the process of making decisions that will affect it.
