LAG Leadership

 Adam Hatefi, our Executive Director.

(You can view Adam’s blog here.)

Adam Hatefi was born in Tehran, Iran. His parents were both in the business of theater and television. He began his acting career at the age of two with a TV film. In the course of the next 15 years he would go on to act in a total of two TV series and two TV films in Iranian television networks. In 2000, he acted in Yalda, a TV film that was broadcast 13 times in 13 years. In 2004, he played a reoccurring character in the series “Ghodrat”, or “Power”, a 13-episode period drama with fantasy elements. In 2006 he played himself in a 90-minute TV film about Iran’s participation in the 2006 FIFA Word Cup. In 2012 he appeared in “60th Edition”, a TV series about the elderly, where he appeared as a guest star in one episode. In 2015, in Sacramento, California, he appeared in the musical Arash the Archer, where he played the mythical Persian hero Arash.

In July, 2014 Adam, then 16, moved to California with his parents. While in high school, he finished his first novel, Earth: Legend of the End, which tells an epic story of the greatest gods and legends of human kind coming together to face the greatest evil of all, and fight in one final battle for the fate of the earth.

In 2016, Adam, along with his partners, founded Double8 Enterprise Inc., a corporation based in Roseville, CA, where he works as the Chief Operating Officer. On February 5th, 2016, Adam gave a talk on comparative mythology of west and the near east, and the effects of these tales of origin in the development of modern thought.

He is also Executive Director of Logikos Advocacy Group (LAG), a political and social welfare group (which he founded) with broad platform from healthcare to environmental policy to electoral reform. During the July 2017 healthcare debate, LAG sent a comprehensive proposal to the U.S. Senate, which never made it to committee, mostly due to the chaos that came in the final days of the debate.

Adam is currently working on his second novel as well as a social-political manifesto, which he plans to publish as soon as it’s ready.
